A Little About These Books -
In the early 1980's, Ozzie Shepherd, Maliq Griffith and Kelly Lynn Williams looked to do the impossible. Produce a comics line for the Global Majority and do it on a regular enough schedule to grow it into a success.
The first book did well enough to make the 'spotlight' section in Diamonds catalogue and the rest became history. As one of the first successful fledgling publications (the first issue sold out it's 3k print run in less than a month!), the future looked bright. Two more books were produced and though the art team changed, it too was successful. (See the online prices of those issues which were pulled from current online sellers at the top of the page).
We've secured the last remaining issues of that run, as we prepare to release the 2024 version with more story, digital art (by Kelly Lynn Williams herself!) and more of a narrative slant to upgrade the reading experience. We took the time to have the books signed by as many of the original creators as we could (to increase their value) and as a first issue the first thousand come numbered. Consider this our nod to your support throughout the years.
We're also NOT charging the current market price but a very conservative sawbuck (or tenner plus postage and handling). Keep in mind there are very few of these still available so this will be while the supply lasts and when they're gone... they'll be gone.
